Maulidur Rasul Celebration 2011

On the blessed 18th February 2011, Friday, the communities in SK (LKTP) Jengka 23 celebrated the birthday of our beloved Islamic Prophet Muhammad. The celebration went so well with the participation from all students, teachers and staffs. The weather also celebrated the day as it is bright and windy throughout the event. Alhamdulillah~

The event began with a great loud of 'selawat' by the students as to show respect towards our beloved Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. All students gathered in the hall for a remindful talk by Ustaz Hishamuddin basicly on the history and life journey of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.

The main event took place as soon as the talk ended around 9 a.m. A massive Maulidur Rasul parade was successfully surprised the community in Felda Jengka 23 that morning. There are three main group lead by the teachers walked mostly 3km while greeting 'selawat' to our Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. They were freshly dressed in colourful traditional outfit and energetically marched around the felda.

A ‘doa’ recited by Ustaz Hishamuddin which ended the parade could made most of us dropped a tear as to remembered all the sacrifices made by the greatest man in this world. The celebration carried on with a quizzes session where students were rewarded with ‘Kuntum’ magazine if they could answer the question. Fundamentally, the sessions mean to enhance students knowledge about Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.

As to ended the celebration, students watched Prophet Muhammad s.a.w life’s journey which illustrated in a cartoon movie. The purpose of this activity was to make students understand better on the sacrifices that made by Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. for his followers. In the hope that everyone could inspires the spirit and motivate themselves to be better.
