A Memorable Visit

Monday, 26/10/2009 - At 11.10 am we've been visited by a group of 3 scouts from The Swedish Guide and Scout Council, Sweden. They came here in Malaysia on their promotion for The 22nd World Scout Jamboree that will be held in Sweden in 2011. Had their visit at Gunung Senyum nearby earlier, they dropped by at our school to get to know closer with pupils in Malaysia.

Jotting down some notes on the school's guest book.

With Year6 pupils.

Entering Year 5A class. The pupils stunned still for a couple of minutes noticing that they're meeting Swedish before their eyes.

"Ok class. This is how we say.... bla bla bla.... in Swedish" hehehe....
The pupils even had their opportunity to learn some Swedish words on greeting. That's good!

"This is where Sweden is. We're having the winter now. So it's cold over there. Not like what you have in Malaysia, your weather here is hot and wet all year round"

From left: En. Husaini (GPK Koko), En. Zaafa, Thomas Frostberg, Miss Hidayah, Kerstin Bergsten, Ann-Charlotte Geissler and their tour guide.

Last pic with some of Year6 pupils.

Before they leave, we were given with this nice Scout's badge. The dove image represents peace, the message they deliver in the council.
